The original ‘Manga is Political’ blog (https://mangaispolitical.noblogs.org/) is dead because it’s host, noblogs.org and its parent structure were suddenly designed as a ‘global terrorist organization‘ by the USA. I wonder when pencils will need a chip to be monitored too, because they also can provide infrastructure for terror activities..
The parent organization in Italy (Autistici/Inventati) was providing many free services and promoted the internet we all want: ad-free, reliable, and pay-what-you-want. You should check their history.
The absence of reaction from any so-called democratic government is a clear signal: the future of the internet is a Chinese-like, non-anonymous, purely commercial space for mass-surveillance.
Luckily for the blog, Sakurajima, a non-predatory platform dedicated to Japanese culture, offered to move the blog on time before Noblogs.org disappeared.
